This memorial on hill 67 at Cindais was inaugurated on Sunday 6 June 2010.
The site was the starting point of the Canadian offensive to repel the German counter-attack in July 1944. The memorial is in the form of a pathway with headstones dedicated to each regiment. It forms part of the region's historical circuits. The site also offers a panoramic view of the neighbouring towns of May-sur-Orne (Saint-Martin-de-May), Saint-André-sur-Orne and the beginning of the Orne valley.
