Château l'Escarderie

Château l?Escarderie, is located in the Bordeaux wine region, on the right bank in the Fronsac appellation, in Organic Agriculture.
Our family vineyard (neo-vignerons since 2015) is located on the Fronsadais hillsides overlooking the Dordogne river; facing south, our vines are perfectly sunny. The clay-limestone terroir is ideal for giving minerality to our Merlot, Cabernet-Franc and Malbec grape varieties.
Our mid-nineteenth-century winery allows us to vinify in the old-fashioned way, under the supervision of an experienced ?nologist.
Our speciality: working with horses in the vineyards and vinification and ageing in amphorae.
