Sustainable tourism
Mercure Grenoble Président is committed via its Grape group to eliminating all plastic packaging by 2022, whether in the restaurant, at breakfast or in our room amenities. The hotel's electricity is cut off from 00:00 to 06:00 in the morning. Water consumption is monitored monthly via an app. The hotel has adapted its breakfast offer, with a maximum of products from local suppliers, and more environmentally-friendly products. The restaurant menu has evolved, and now includes one vegetarian dish, while limiting red meats in favor of fish and poultry. The hotel supports the Good For Kids association, to save disadvantaged children and at the same time be more respectful of the environment. Mercure Grenoble Président offers guests the option of dispensing with the cleaning service between nights, and the profits generated by the hotel are donated to the association. Many other areas of development are currently under study.
