Housed in an old school built in 1891, this museum depicts the daily lives of the inhabitants of the Pays d’Olonne at the beginning of the 20th century. Discover 6 exhibition halls, a classroom, costumes and head gear of the era, as well as many everyday objects (traditional craftsmanship, tools, furniture, kitchen utensils,tools of the salt producer, the farmer, the wine-grower, the still, mementoes of the Great War).

April, June, September, and All-Saints holidays, open from Monday to Friday 2.30-5.30 pm. July and August from Monday to Friday 3-6.30 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am-noon. Off-season : Tuesdays 2.30-5.30 pm. Closed on bank holiday.
