This 47-hectare park was designed in 1842 by André Leroy, a landscape gardener from Angers, on the remains of an 11th-century estate. It includes a hydraulic complex of 5 ponds, attributed to the Bühler brothers. Surrounded by a belt of precious trees, it forms a coherent and original whole, characteristic of 19th-century landscaped parks.
The grounds of Château de Nesmy, a site protected as a Historic Monument, are open to visitors for guided tours:
6 - 7 May for the Neurodon fund-raising campaign
3 - 4 June for the Rendez-vous aux Jardins festival
From 17 July to 20 August and from 7 September to 17 September, except Saturdays, during the summer period. Tours depart at 2.30pm, 4pm, 5.30pm and 7pm.
16 - 17 September for the European Heritage Days
25 - 26 November for the RDV Parks in Autumn (New!)
The park is also open to associations and groups on request.
The park is accessible to people with disabilities.
