Le Tilleul gîte is located on the Les Perles site, a landscaped area with a fishing pond of almost 6 ha, a large play area for children, a free jogging trail, hiking trails, a BMX track and the start of a 49 km mountain bike circuit (difficult): the Mont du Saule, with its magnificent viewpoints.
If you're an amateur or more experienced angler, you'll love the Etang des Perles, a 1st category enclosed lake, a well-known spot in Mayenne (carp, pike, etc. open in March and carnivore fishing Sept-Dec. Fishing licence offered during your stay by your host. This gîte does not have fishing facilities, only a garage where you can store your equipment.
All shops and services are 3km away in Villaines-la-Juhel. There is also an indoor swimming pool, open all year round, with adult and children's pools, a solarium and swimming lessons, aquagym, aquaphobics, etc., as well as swimming courses during the holidays. Find out more.
From Averton, you can discover the listed natural site of the Alpes Mancelles, the Mont des Avaloirs: a great place for walking, cycling or horse-riding. Discover the beautiful villages of Saint Cénéri le Gerei or go to Saint Léonard des Bois to the Gasseau adventure park (tree climbing from 6 years old and 1.2m); try your hand at kayaking, archery, climbing or orienteering. Some activities are seasonal, others year-round.
