Description
The Maritime Museum is situated in Honfleur, in the former Saint-Etienne Church, on the banks of the Vieux Bassin. Built in the 14th century, Saint-Etienne Church is the oldest in the town.
The models, engravings and artefacts on display are the result of numerous donations and bequests.
They all bear witness to the activities of seafarers and Honfleur society in the 18th and 19th centuries: fishing, shipbuilding, long-distance trade, and traditional crafts linked to the sea…
