The heart of the resort, La Baule's beach sets the pace for life in La Baule all year round! At the centre of a 9km bay of fine sand, it offers an exceptionally large playground! Sand castles, swimming, lounging - there's something for everyone.

And La Baule doesn't rest on the reputation of its beach; quite the contrary. The beach is constantly the focus of attention.
The beach was resanded in 2004, giving it a new lease of life: 310,000 m³ of sand were placed in the central part of the bay. And the care lavished on it is not just occasional. During the season, it's daily: every other night, the sand is cleaned; every morning, a broom clears the beach entrances; the 160 litter bins are emptied twice and the toilets cleaned three times a day. Impeccable cleanliness guaranteed, and even more so since the introduction of the "Keep Clean" bins and ashtrays.

As well as cleanliness, we offer comfort, service and safety.
During the summer, everyone can feel a little more at home under one of the 750 blue and white striped tents removed each evening and replaced each morning; store their belongings in one of the 170 wooden cabins available or leave them in one of the two lockers available.

Supervised beach from July to August. Supervision provided by CRS - MNS (lifeguards) and civilian reinforcements at the Benoît, Concorde, De Gaulle, Saumur, Mazy and Avenue de la Plage lifeguard stations.
