Grand Plage

The Grand Plage is undoubtedly the best-known beach in La Faute-sur-Mer, and has been awarded the Blue Flag. It is frequented all year round by locals, holidaymakers and Sunday strollers.
The beach is accessed from the recently refurbished Esplanade de la Mer, where you can sit back and contemplate the horizon and admire the view of the Casse de la Belle Henriette National Nature Reserve. It's also the place to be for summer events, where holidaymakers and locals gather to watch the traditional 14 July fireworks display, summer concerts and other popular gatherings.
The beach is a great place to swim, and is supervised by lifeguards in July and August.
