Centre d'Art Contemporain

From September to December 2024, the art centre will be undergoing renovation work, so there will be no exhibitions on offer during the autumn. There will be an artistic presence outside the walls, with the artistic residency of Vincent Mauger.

With three exhibitions a year, the programme at the Pontmain Centre for Contemporary Art is made up of regular events that follow the rhythm of the seasons:
- In spring, an exhibition by two young artists in residence during the winter.
- In summer, a solo exhibition by an established artist
- In the autumn, a themed group exhibition on loan from public collections (Fracs, Fnac, artothèques....) and private collections (galleries, artists, etc.).

To encourage visitors to get to know contemporary art, a mediator is on hand to welcome them and talk about the works.

- Educational tours and workshops for schools, leisure centres, etc.
- Meetings with artists, lectures....
