Petit Douaillon

If you'd like to get together with family or friends for a weekend or a longer stay, I'd be delighted to welcome you to the Petit Douaillon group gîte in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by organically-farmed meadows and fields in southern Mayenne, in the Pays de Loire region, less than 3 hours from Paris.
The Petit Douaillon gîte has 10 bedrooms, each with en-suite shower room, private toilet and independent access.
It is an establishment open to the public (ERP) with a capacity of 34 single beds (no bunk beds), making it ideal for holidays and holiday camps with children.
A reception room and fully-equipped kitchen suitable for 40 diners.
Exceptional: 3 ground-floor bedrooms with en suite shower rooms and WCs can accommodate 8 people with reduced mobility.

The gîte is located on an organic dairy farm. Tours of the farm are available on request.
Around the gîte, there is a large car park away from the relaxation and play areas, 2 petanque courts, a 40m² reception tent with summer lounge for 10 people, garden furniture, barbecue and brazier. A real haven of peace in the countryside.

Facilities available from April to October inclusive:
40m2 reception tent on the terrace with, in particular, a summer lounge for 10 people, 4 hammocks available for strolling under the apple trees in fine weather and a brazier for wood-fired cooking (wood provided at extra cost).

All year round in the room: a JBL partyBox 310 sound system + microphone and mood lighting in the room, as well as a Sulpie 230 table football table with LED lighting. Board games for small and large groups.

There are plenty of things to do with the whole family in the surrounding area: the Refuge de l'Arche in Château-Gontier (12km), the Robert Tatin open-air museum in Cossé-le-Vivien, aquatic centres open all year round in Château-Gontier and Meslay du Maine (17km), the Château-Gontier marina for organising a boat, kayak or bike trip on the Vélo Francette, etc.

Shops in Gennes-Longuefuye, 3km: bakery, bar. Then in Château-Gontier, 10km, bakery, chemist, doctors, supermarket, market, shops.
