This church which is inextricably linked to the town’s history, was built to replace the former Chapelle des Bénédictins, which had been engulfed by the sand dunes.
It represents an exceptional example of outstanding Neo-medieval style
architecture.
Within its walls you will find vestiges of the former chapel such as the altar and the baptismal fonts
