Bois des Aulnes

The Bois des Aulnes, at the foot of the Town Hall, a haven of greenery in the town centre, hosts the "Noël Magique" event at the end of each year. A different theme brings the garden to life every year at Christmas time. Snow and luminous decorations are the order of the day.
In this flower-filled area, there's a pond that's open to children, who can operate scale models such as remote-controlled boats.
Created in 1908, it hosted the La Baule market every Friday from 1888 until 1909. A redevelopment plan was drawn up in 1951 by the architect M. MARCHAND, and the site became a local heritage site in 1976.
