Burnt down in the 17th century, the church was covered temporarily with a thatched roof, which remained in place for several decades. It wasn't until the 19th century that the first major restoration works were undertaken, gradually restoring the building's architectural and heritage character. Today, this place steeped in history is only open to the public during the European Heritage Days, offering a rare opportunity to discover this discreet but precious witness to the local heritage.
