Château de la Devansaye dates back to the middle of the 16th century. Renovated in the 19th century, it has retained its original exterior walls and openings, bearing witness to its architectural evolution.
The estate is best known for its exceptional walled kitchen garden, covering around one hectare and created around 1875. This garden has retained most of its original features, including the gardener's house, a greenhouse and a water supply system.
It also houses a remarkable collection of apple and pear trees pruned in a variety of traditional shapes: cordons, palmettes and spindles, illustrating the horticultural skills of the 19th century.
