Charles du Plessis, Lord of Bourgonnière, built this walled chapel, when he came back from Italy with King Charles VIII. Inside, the chapel has retained its rich color décor topped with a magnificent altarpiece statues ( attributed to the sculptor Michel Colombe ), stained glass "grisaille" and an amazing polychrome Christ, richly dressed, leaning on the Cross, not only nailed asked. This iconography is outstanding and is itself worth a visit. The property is private, the chapel can be visited by appointment.
