Château de la Grandière

This château, built between the 16th and 18th centuries, is a remarkable architectural ensemble. Access is via a gatehouse that leads into a courtyard surrounded by a moat, a characteristic feature of stately homes of this period.
The estate also includes a main building and landscaped grounds laid out with beautiful avenues of plane trees, box trees, hornbeam trees and tiered lime trees. The whole offers an elegant setting in which architecture and plant life harmoniously complement each other.
