Château du Hardas

Château du Hardas, built in the 15th century, is constructed from schist and tufa stone, materials that are emblematic of Anjou's architectural heritage. Today, the estate is surrounded by wooded grounds laid out in 1992, providing a neat, harmonious landscape setting.
Parterres of pruned boxwood lead to an English-style park planted with a wide variety of species. From the paths, the view opens out over the pond, the village and the Louvaines bell tower, offering a typical Haut-Anjou rural perspective.
In the enclosed courtyard, hornbeam and topiary create a setting inspired by Renaissance gardens, combining plant elegance with architectural drama.
