Housed in the former stables of the Château de la Groulaie, the Atelier Musée is a place of conservation, transmission and creation in the field of early printing.
The collection of printing presses and equipment is organised in the form of a book workshop, from typesetting and letterpress printing to bookbinding and etching. It is open to the public from May to October, as well as on special days when printing techniques are demonstrated.
This collection is also dedicated to the creation and practice of printing. Courses are available for beginners, and experienced professionals can use the presses at workshops or on hire.
As for exhibitions, the museum walls house a collection of prints and posters, and a major exhibition of prints is held every year in May, in the prestigious setting of the château.
