Today, the restaurant is a family business, run by the fifth generation from the region. In a relaxed atmosphere, seasonal menus, local produce and unique wines chosen for you at reasonable prices by the glass or bottle. Set in the pretty, peaceful village of Le Thoureil, a "Petite Cité de Caractère" (Small Town of Character) in the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Loire Valley, La Route du Sel offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the river from its restaurant, terrace and garden.
