The square is also home to the "Jardin de Varennes", a restaurant with all the hallmarks of a working-class restaurant. Every day, there's a different, unique dish. Before it, pâtés, cold meats, raw vegetables, various salads, etc.... are the starters from which you can choose as much as you like. The wine on the table, the desserts and the cheeses are also as varied as you like. The cheeses are laid out on a platter and moved from one table to another as and when required, under the watchful eye of the hostess, who is quick to replenish the platter.

The restaurant is also on the "Entre Loire et Forêt" cycle route, which is connected to La Loire à Vélo.
