Description

The Bendola, a highly protected Natura 2000 area, is a 16km-long left-bank tributary of the Roya. Its source is in the Ligurian Alps, east of Saorge. Europe's longest canyon, it takes two days to complete and is technically challenging.
Topographical reference: IGN Top 25 map no. 3821 "Vallée de la Roya - Vallée des Merveilles".
