

Saint Germaine is a young martyred shepherdess whose body, found intact in the 17th century, was the object of popular cult.
Basilica with dome in Romano-Byzantine style, built by the architect Pierre Esquié in 1901, finished in composite style for the centenary of the canonization of Saint Germaine in 1967. A pilgrimage takes place every year on 15 June.
