This 7 km circular route (with an optional 10 km extension to climb Puy Saint-Romain) offers a remarkable variety of landscapes, ranging from the river and vineyard-covered hillsides to volcanic terrain.
As you walk, discover the local history and rural heritage: from the hamlet of Lissac with its fortified village to the peaceful banks of the River Allier, passing through old wine-growing villages and the famous Sainte-Marguerite springs. The surrounding peaks also offer magnificent panoramic views of the Val d’Allier and the Auvergne volcanoes.
