Château de Montrevault, with its keep and walls measuring between 1.80m and 2m, was originally built around the year 1000 by Foulques Nerra, Count of Anjou. King Charles IX and Henry of Navarre - later Henry IV - were guests here.

The gite has 7 bedrooms sleeping up to 14 people.
It is possible to rent only part of the gîte, which is divided into 2 flats.
