"Well, let's get on with it" is an autobiographical fiction for a performer born in 1987, two clarinets, twenty voice-over characters and an Atlantic blue lobster.
On stage, a young man re-enacts his journey as a musician, from childhood to adulthood. There's talk of dusty conservatory teaching, family dinners, singing boats, recorders, job centre advisers, "Are you hot in Carcassonne?" and a possible reincarnation as a crustacean.
But make no mistake, whether you're a musician or not, you may well find yourself more involved than you thought.
