Gîte la Charretterie

Small winding country roads through the bocage lead you to this charming village, all in relief, with its colorful half-timbered houses and its wash house. At its heart, the Pressoir Saint Christophe is a real Norman postcard with its traditional half-timbered building, its apple orchard, its pastures where sheep, horses, geese and chickens roam. La Charretterie has a lot of charm, housed in a large half-timbered building, made of earth and flint. The studio, whose entrance is on the ground floor, is a beautiful, very bright area upstairs, with large roof windows that offer you pretty views of the garden, the sheep orchard, the church or the village everywhere. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, the whole charming, very modern and well equipped, with functional and well-designed areas for every moment of the day. In fine weather, you will enjoy the covered terrace all to yourself, a real additional room. Detached access to the ground floor via a reception room. On the ground floor, the studio entrance leads upstairs via a staircase that opens onto the very bright living room area on the left, with a large roof window: nice lounge (sleeping possible in the sofa bed for one person and connected TV), kitchen and dining area. On the right, the sleeping area with a 160x200 bed. Pretty bathroom with a beautiful shower and separate toilet. Also on the ground floor, a laundry room in share with the second gîte. Leisure activities: pétanque balls (ground in the village), rackets, molkky, and visiting the house animals. Warm welcome from Nathalie & Mathieu who will be happy to tell you about their know-how (workshops by reservation): Nathalie will show you around her soap factory and Mathieu will tell you all about his honey production.
