Gîte La Pergola

In a small village above the Epte valley, La Commanderie, a place steeped in history with its 11th-century medieval tower, welcomes you. Opposite it, in a pretty brick and half-timbered house, this gîte is a very pleasant place to spend your vacations. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a contemporary decor featuring wood, club armchairs in the lounge by the fireplace, a comfortable dining area and a top-notch kitchen! You'll love the large pergola just for you, a shady terrace perfect for outdoor meals and siestas in fine weather. Jean-François will tell you all about the history of this place, a former stronghold and later Templar Commandery, and about the Vexin Normand region he knows so well; he'll advise you on the best places to visit. In the village, you'll find local producers, restaurants and a bakery, and in Gisors, 6 km away, you'll find all the services of a small, friendly town. Entrance on the ground floor leads to the living room, with kitchen and dining area on one side, and lounge by the fireplace on the other. Upstairs, 2 small bedrooms and a shower room with toilet. The gîte benefits from a private outdoor space right in front of the gîte, as well as a superb pergola with a summer atmosphere, a large shaded terrace with furniture for your meals and relaxation. There's also a space to share with the small adjoining gîte (sleeps 2) on the motte; croquet lawn and ample parking.
