Gîte Le Clos de la mare aux cerfs - La Canopée

Treat yourself to a stay under the stars, close to the treetops in the heart of the forest! This former water tower has been converted into an atypical, warm and inviting vacation home, all decked out in wood and iron. When it comes to comfort, nothing has been left to chance, and Cloé and Laurent have thought of everything to make your stay here as pleasant as possible, despite the constraints of this incredible building. The gîte is laid out like a large loft on 5 levels, right up to the panoramic bedroom at the very top. Every space is well thought out and cocooned in a warm, contemporary atmosphere, with the little extras provided by Chloé. As for the garden, there's a space just for you around the gîte, with your own relaxing furniture, and access to the whole estate, including a part of the forest perfect for short walks or wildlife watching. This region between the Seine Valley and Vexin Normand is superb, starting with Giverny, 4 km away. Ground-floor entrance to kitchen, equipped like a large one, with dining area. WC with washbasin. On the 1st floor, the living room, nice and bright with tv (chromecast). On 2nd floor, a lovely, comfortable shower room. On the 3rd floor, an additional toilet with washbasin, practical because it's close to the bedroom (separate but not partitioned). Finally, on the 4th floor, the staircase leads to the superb double bedroom with a 180x200 double bed; from its 3 windows, it offers an unobstructed view of the forest and grassland, where you can watch the passing wildlife, roe deer, hinds and wild rabbits. There's a private outdoor space just off the kitchen, with garden furniture and deckchairs. There's also a pétanque court, shared with the other gîte (studio), and access to the whole property for walks. Cloé and Laurent are your neighbors.
