Gîte Ferme du Gouy

Dating from 1787, this thatched wine press has survived the centuries to offer you an elegant and welcoming vacation home. It has retained all its character and authenticity thanks to a quality restoration that showcases its original materials: beams and timber framing, terracotta tiles, stone walls, and bricks are found inside in a "country house" decor with lovely antique furniture. You'll love the picture-postcard setting that surrounds it: endless pastures, orchards, and cows! In other words, a truly tranquil stay surrounded by nature, far from everything. In the village, the GR23 takes you to the Marais Vernier, an incredible nature reserve that will give you the opportunity to discover the fauna and flora of the marshes. You're also very close to Pont Audemer, the little Venice of Normandy, and the seaside with the superb beach of Deauville, 40 minutes away, or Honfleur, just 30 minutes away. On the ground floor: a large living room with a comfortable lounge area in front of a superb decorative fireplace (games and a mini library). Next door is the semi-open dining room, which opens directly onto the kitchen, which also opens directly onto the garden. A small double bedroom (queen-size bed), shower room, and separate toilet. Upstairs: three attic bedrooms: two with a queen-size bed, one with its own private bathroom, and a family bedroom with four single beds and a sink. There's also a separate shower room with toilet. You'll enjoy a very large, private, enclosed garden of 1,500 m² with an orchard right next door where you can pick your own produce. For shopping, Pont-Audemer is 8 km away, and for your leisure activities, there's golf, a swimming pool, fishing, tennis, and a cinema. For longer stays, a second gîte is located on the same property (ref. 1366 for 8 people).
