Neat furnishings, complete crockery, full set of electrical appliances - everything you need to feel at home. Except that you'll have to come home one day. And that's a shame.
Nestling in the heart of the Vendée bocage, La Fenouillette sleeps up to 4 people in a calm, leafy setting that's truly rejuvenating. Facing due south, it enjoys plenty of natural light all year round. And like all old farmhouses, it's been around a long time: it keeps cool in summer and warm in winter. Natural insulation is an art you can't learn, it has to be experienced.
The fully enclosed courtyard will delight pet owners, who can let their companions roam in complete peace of mind. Outside, we don't skimp on comforts: barbecue, garden furniture, deckchairs and bike storage - everything you need to make the most of the fine Vendée days.
When it comes to activities, you're in for a treat. The Puy du Fou, voted the best park in the world, no less, is just a short drive away. The beaches of the Vendée coast are also within easy reach, for those who prefer sand to chivalry. Not forgetting the historic villages, marshes, abbeys and all the treasures the Vendée has to offer, for the curious and the adventurous.
La Fenouillette is the ideal base from which to explore one of France's most popular tourist regions, and the perfect refuge from which to savour the return journey every evening.
