Join Myriam, an experienced birdwatching guide and set off to discover the birdlife of the enigmatic Calestienne region. This area is immediately appealing with its limestone grasslands, famous chasms such as the Fondry des Chiens, and magnificent wild orchids. Not to mention its typical wooded countryside with hedgerows and hay meadows, which provide an ideal habitat for birds. On foot and with binoculars at the ready, you may come across nesting species such as the red-backed shrike, the stonechat, the nightingale, the cuckoo, the woodlark and the discreet wood pigeon. Myriam will help you spot and identify the different species and explain their characteristics. Remember to wear good shoes and clothing suitable for the weather.
