La Ferme des Belles Bêtes

We are Anaïs and Gaëtan, a breeder and farmer of 90 organic dairy ewes in the commune of Chanzeaux. We are the owners of the GAEC les 2 Bergères.
We are committed to farming in a way that respects the environment, the animals, the products and the people.

Our practices are centred on making the most of grass and ensuring the herd's self-sufficiency in feed. Our animals graze most of the year and we produce our own stocks of fodder and cereals.

We respect the natural cycle of our ewes, so they produce milk from mid-March to the end of October. All the milk produced is processed by us into a wide range of dairy products:

-raw milk
-yoghurt
-white cheeses
-fresh, matured and dry lactic cheeses
-tartinade
-plain apple
-savory apple
Fête à" (feta-type cheese)
-Bêle pâte" (Reblochon type).

We look forward to welcoming you to our farm sales from April to December, every Friday from 4.30pm to 7pm. Payment is by cheque or cash only.
