Menhir of the Woods des Brosses

You can't miss this! This block of gneiss 4,65m high, is well positioned in the middle of a meadow next to the Arboretum. It's weight is estimated to be around 8000 kg. The menhirs are a major part of the prehistoric heritage of the Auvergne.
To be discovered on site: the arboretum, created in 1979 during the reforestation of the Bois des Brosses, which has 27 species.
