An architectural gem rebuilt after the First World War by architect Gustave Umbdenstock. This unique station stands out for its iconic locomotive shape and its Potez 36 aircraft suspended inside.
Since 1991, a Potez 36 has been on display in the town's train station. This aircraft is a genuine plane, having made its first flight in 1928. This is considered to be the aircraft that gave rise to tourist aviation in the 1930’s. Being in the station hall is to pay tribute to the aircraft manufacturer Henry Potez, this monoplane allows tourists arriving by train to understand that they are in a region with a rich aeronautical history.
