Description
Sigournais doit son origine au développement de son bourg à un prieuré bénédictin. Dans la deuxième moitié du XIème siècle, Sigournais était associé à une seigneurie féodale, et est devenue baronnie au XVIème siècle, et enfin fut réunie à celles de Puybelliard et Chantonnay.
