The Les Bains swimming pool in the town of Bègles welcomes experienced swimmers and beginners alike to its exceptional setting, which combines modern facilities with Art Deco architecture.
Inaugurated on 4 December 1932, the Art Deco-style municipal swimming pool in Bègles is a testament to the 1930s, which saw the development of sports architecture, symbolising a new cult of the body. Renovated in 2006 by architect Patrick Bouchain, Les Bains swimming pool, which takes its name from the baths that once stood on the site, is now one of the town's landmarks.
