Lake Enchanet
Description
The lake is home to one of Europe's largest heronries, and predator fishing is an unforgettable experience.
Fishing activity (2nd category = mainly predatory fish). Fishing license required: Daily (€14), weekly (€36.50) or yearly permits (€87) on sale at www.cartedepeche.fr or at Camping Paradis La Gineste.
2026: Rainbow trout and spinycheek crayfish allowed all year round; pike not allowed between 01/26 to 04/24, zander from 03/09 to 05/29, largemouth bass from 05/11 to 07/03.
Beach facilities + boat launch: La Gineste in Arnac (southern bank) and Longayroux (northern bank).
