Char britannique « Centaure »
Description
Originally a bulldozer tank without a turret, during its restoration it was transformed into a Centaur CS (Close Support) tank, to be displayed as a tribute to the Royal Marines' armored support group that landed on nearby Sword Beach.
Graduation markings on the turret enabled an outside observer to give firing instructions by radio to the crew, who had only a very limited view of the fighting.
