Saint-André Church dates back to the 12th century. Over the years, it has undergone a number of modifications: its windows have been enlarged, except for one, to let in more light, and an exterior door giving access to the choir has been walled up.
Arcisse de Caumont, a renowned scholar, documented these changes with regret, criticizing in particular the covering of the choir with wainscoting in the 19th century, which he felt altered the original beauty of the interior.
Despite the alterations, the building retains its historic charm, with its 12th-century choir housing interesting buttresses and modillions, as well as a square tower that dominates the landscape. The interior, despite the loss of its original vaults in the nave, remains a place of deep spirituality and history. The heart was listed as a Monument Historique in 1937.
