Brief shelter for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. The work is made up of monolithic blocks of erratic granite found on site, cut and dry-fitted to form the base.
The solid wood framework is assembled without nails, screws or glue. A large slate roof protects the cob and rammed earth renderings, reused from local building sites.
Basic shelter. No water, electricity, heating or sleeping facilities on site. Public toilets in the village center opposite the church.
Free access.
