21-Gerbéviller-la-Martyre
La commune de Gerbéviller fut surnommée Gerbéviller-la-Martyre car elle fut ravagée durant la Première Guerre Mondiale par les Allemands en représailles de l'échec de la prise du pont de la Mortagne : les habitants furent massacrés, le village pillé et incendié.
La ville a été décorée de la Légion d'honneur en 1930.
