Located in Eygun in the Vallée d'Aspe, in a building dating back to the Middle Ages and restored over a 3-year period, the "seigneurie de Gunh" boasts an officially documented past (by archaeologists and historians).
The owners have been keen to restore this fortified house to the lustre it had lacked since the mid-19th century, including the creation of a small 18-seat society theater and its opening to the public.
Exhibition of an "elles et ailes" collection of antique fashion fans, shedding light on the skills of table and feather craftsmen: 70 pieces from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 2nd World War.
In the upper room, a 2nd "perles de mode" collection is on display, featuring some 30 evening and ball gowns from the turn of the last century to the 1930s, adorned with "Lunéville" embroidery of pearls, sequins and rhinestones.
