La Canopée des Cîmes
Description
Panoramic platform overhanging with sublime views of Lake Mont-Cenis and beyond. In winter, it is accessible by the ski slopes, and in summer, it is accessible on foot, for hikers, from the chairlift of Solert.
La Canopée des Cîmes (mountaintop canopy) is a suspension lookout located on the very summit of Val Cenis (2 800meters / 9186,352 feet) which can host 15 to 20 people simultaneously.
Formerly everybody arriving with the chairlift used to reach the mountain edge in order to appreciate the open landscape onto the Mont Cenis lake and Franco-Italian mountains.
This unusual and genuine architectural platform allows people to move safely forward above the air and appreciate the outstanding surrounding landscape.

From 06/07 to 31/08 daily between 10 am and 4 pm. Accessible Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays via the Vieux Moulin gondola, followed by a 2h30 walk. From 14/12/2025 to 17/04/2026 daily between 9 am and 4.30 pm.
