Located on the second floor of a house full of character, Les Hirondelles is the smallest room, measuring just 18 m², but is nevertheless a real cocoon. With its double aspect to the south and west, it benefits from plenty of natural light, enhanced by its original honey-coloured parquet flooring and exposed stone walls. The bathroom, which has been completely renovated, evokes the charm of the Belle Époque with its metro tiles and earthenware frieze inspired by old postcards. It has a walk-in shower, antique washbasin, heated towel rail and WC.

The bedroom, ideal for two people, has a double bed (160 x 200 cm) with new, high-quality bedding, and a soothing view over the garden and the town.

This calm and cosy space is perfect for a relaxing stay. However, as it is located on the second floor without a lift, this room is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Please also note that no baby bed or extra bed can be installed. A cosy and authentic experience awaits you in this room with the charm of yesteryear.


La Cantellerie,

A magnificent manor house built in 1868 in the most beautiful street in Courseulles-sur-Mer, offers the charm of an old family home and the calm of its garden in the heart of the town. This is the garden where so many birds come to rest and feed, to which La Cantellerie owes its name: "the song of the birds".

Shops, restaurants, the beach and the port are just a few minutes away on foot. The house is ideally located for a relaxing stay, but also for cultural activities: the Juno Beach Center, dedicated to our dear Canadian friends who came (all volunteers!!) to liberate France, is within walking distance, and American and English beaches are just a few kilometers away. Bayeux and its tapestry are also a 20-minute drive away. And why not take a day trip to Mont Saint Michel?

Completely and recently renovated, the house has 5 bedrooms, including 2 family suites and 1 3-person room, all with en-suite bathroom and WC; at the entrance to the property, our little gîte lives up to its name: "Le Nid", a veritable cocoon for lovers of peace and independence!

On the first floor of the main building, communal areas await you: a large dining room for breakfasts and dinners, lounges, etc. We want our home to be yours for the duration of your stay. In the garden, armchairs and deckchairs await you in summer when you return from a busy day for a pleasant moment of relaxation.

We pay particular attention to our breakfasts, and our guests appreciate this special moment: yoghurts, fruit salad, granola, jams, fresh fruit juices? everything is homemade. Bread too, on certain days. And for those with a sweet tooth, we can even offer an organic egg on the plate, accompanied by ham or cheese. Homemade rice pudding and homemade egg cream sometimes complete the long list. We serve breakfast in the large dining room, where all our guests gather.

By prior arrangement, La Cantellerie also offers table d?hôte dining, with fresh, honest cuisine based on regional produce, family-style but sometimes more daring: fresh fish, scallops in season, local cheeses, homemade desserts, etc Cooking is our second passion.

In summer, our guests have access to our cabin to enjoy the beach and change clothes more easily. We even sometimes serve dinners or simple platters of oysters or seafood, so you can watch the sunset while sipping a glass of chilled white wine.
