Description

In the heart of the village, the St. Leger church, whose the first foundations date from the eleventh century and restored in the seventeenth century, is equally charming.
Finally, like five other villages of the territory (Charnois, Fromelennes, Chooz, Foisches and Givet), Rancennes is closely related to the nature reserve of "La Pointe de Givet". With an acreage of 354 hectares, this nature reserve offers a landscapes composed of numerous facets, such as : forests, dry grasslands, steep cliffs and spectacular cliffs overhanging the river Meuse.
A unique geological and biological heritage.
