Saint-Hilaire church, located in the centre of the village of Noyers and facing north-east, has an elongated plan. Its construction dates back to the end of the XIIᵉ century for the choir and certain parts, but it was remodelled in the XVIIᵉ century (raising the walls, modifying the bays, adding an attic above the choir and the south chapel, etc.). The sacristy dates from 1694, the bell tower from 1715, and its portal was rebuilt in 1867. The chapel of the Virgin, probably from the XVIᵉ century, had its vault redone in 1952, with wall paintings added at that time.
The three-vessel nave, preceded by the bell tower, leads to a square chancel flanked on the south by the chapel of the Virgin. The walls, made of limestone rubble with ashlar chains, are pierced with semi-circular or round-arched windows. The interior is rendered and whitewashed, with the floor alternating between large limestone slabs and a checkerboard pattern of black and red marble. The nave has a ceiling, while the choir and chapel are rib-vaulted. The slate roof features long-sloped roofs, except for the bell tower, which is covered by an open gable.
