At the beginning of the XIXᵉ century, the Warcan site housed a shearing power factory, which was transformed into a spinning mill over the course of the century. It was owned successively by Gauchez-Dagand, Lécluse, Pingard and then Rousseaux. In 1944, Pierre Rouy took over ownership under the name Société Anonyme de Filature et de Tissage de Sedan.
Most of the current buildings, dating from the XXᵉ century, have been converted into homes, a garage and a nightclub. The site, crossed by an arm of the Givonne, includes a reservoir used as a fishery and a winnowing system that is still visible. The main workshops, built of limestone rubble, have a metal frame on cast-iron posts. Secondary buildings, made of concrete blocks, line an internal road near the Givonne.
