Description

The Parc Pierquin, in the heart of the town, is home to some rare tree species. Created by Louis Pierquin, a faithful friend of Rimbaud and amateur historian from the Ardennes, this park is a place of relaxation, very close to the town centre. During your walk, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll and see trees such as the osage orange, the soap tree, the tulip tree and the "40 écus tree". In the park to the right of the large central lawn are the remains of a lime and brick kiln used in the construction of Charleville in the 17th century. A charming little English-style park.
