Description

One of the most beautiful views of the Ardennes culminating at 338 metres.
Ancient Gallo-Roman burial mound on the Roman road from Reims - Trier.
This natural hill was enhanced and transformed into an observation post in the second century.
From the summit, accessible via a stairway, the view of the vast forest of Argonne is breathtaking.
As the stage of tank battle between the French and Germans in May 1940, the site was captured and recaptured 17 times in 4 days. The village was completely destroyed.
